About The Society.
The Society was founded in 1984 to promote research into, education in and appreciation of Derby porcelain and other Derbyshire ceramics of all periods to the present day. Charitable status was granted in 1990.
The Society arranges several events for members and publishes two full-colour Newsletters each year, in addition to the Journal, a more occasional publication containing longer research articles.
Occasional special publications can also be produced.
